Privacy Policy for Still

Effective date: August 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Still.

Still is designed to keep its core blocking data on your device. However, the app uses RevenueCat for purchases and Google AdMob for limited advertising.

1. Information stored on your device

Still stores the following information locally on your iPhone:

  • Profiles and the apps associated with them
  • Website lists you create
  • Focus presets, durations, and active Focus sessions
  • Schedules and daily limits
  • Your Focus reminder
  • Screen Time authorization and blocking status
  • Your free-access start date and reminder status
  • Recent banner-ad impression times used to limit how often ads appear
  • App settings and onboarding progress

This information is used to provide app blocking, website blocking, schedules, Focus, advertising limits, and related features.

Still does not operate a cloud account system and does not upload your profiles, website lists, Focus settings, reminder text, or Screen Time selections to our own servers.

Local information may be included in encrypted iCloud or device backups according to your Apple backup settings. Certain trial records are stored using the iOS Keychain and may remain after the app is uninstalled, depending on Apple’s operating-system behavior.

2. Screen Time information

Still uses Apple’s Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks to block selected apps and websites.

Apple provides Still with protected selection tokens rather than an ordinary readable list of your installed apps. These tokens are stored on your device and in Still’s shared App Group so that blocking can continue while Still is closed.

Still does not receive:

  • Your complete Screen Time activity history
  • Exact Screen Time usage totals
  • The content you view inside other apps
  • Your browsing history
  • Passwords, messages, or text entered in other apps

Website addresses that you manually add to a website list are stored locally and used with Apple’s Screen Time controls. The built-in Adult sites list uses Apple’s adult-content restriction. Still does not inspect or save the pages you visit.

You can withdraw Screen Time permission through iOS. Blocking features that rely on Screen Time will stop working if permission is withdrawn.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Still uses RevenueCat to manage Still Pro purchases, subscription status, lifetime access, and purchase restoration.

RevenueCat may process:

  • An anonymous app user identifier
  • App Store transaction and receipt information
  • Products purchased
  • Subscription status and expiration dates
  • Purchase and restoration events
  • Device and app information needed to provide and secure purchases

Still does not create a RevenueCat account using your name or email address. Apple processes your payment details, and Still does not receive your full payment-card information.

RevenueCat’s processing is governed by its Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting Still does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

4. Advertising

The free iOS version of Still may display limited banner advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. Paid Still Pro users do not receive these advertisements.

Still requests non-personalized advertisements and does not request Apple’s permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. However, Google may still process limited information for advertising, frequency capping, reporting, security, and fraud prevention, including:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Device or advertising identifiers where permitted
  • App and device information
  • Advertisement impressions and interactions
  • Diagnostic, crash, and performance information

Still stores banner-impression timestamps locally to limit advertisements to no more than two per day with at least five hours between them. We do not use these timestamps to build an advertising profile.

Where required, Still displays Google’s consent form and provides an Ad choices option in Settings.

Learn more through Google’s Privacy Policy and its explanation of how Google uses information from apps.

5. Information we do not collect

Still does not intentionally collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address
  • Contacts, photos, videos, microphone recordings, or location
  • Health or financial information
  • Messages, passwords, or keyboard input
  • The content viewed inside blocked apps
  • Exact Screen Time usage history
  • Browsing history
  • User-created profiles, website lists, reminders, or Focus activity for advertising

Still does not independently sell your profiles, app selections, website lists, Screen Time selections, Focus activity, or reminder text.

Depending on applicable law, Google’s advertising activities may be considered sharing for advertising purposes. Where legally required, you can manage those choices through the consent form or Ad choices control in Still.

6. How information is used

Information is processed only as needed to:

  • Provide app and website blocking
  • Apply profiles, schedules, limits, and Focus sessions
  • Remember your settings
  • Determine free-access and Still Pro eligibility
  • Complete, verify, and restore purchases
  • Display and limit advertisements
  • Diagnose failures and maintain app security
  • Comply with legal obligations

7. Data retention and deletion

Profiles, website lists, Focus presets, reminders, and settings remain on your device until you edit or delete them or uninstall Still.

Uninstalling Still removes most information stored in its app container. Trial-related timestamps stored in the iOS Keychain may remain after uninstalling so that reinstalling the app does not restart the free-access period.

RevenueCat and Google retain information according to their own privacy policies and legal obligations. We do not control their independent retention schedules.

Removing Still does not cancel an Apple subscription. Subscriptions must be cancelled from your Apple ID subscription settings.

8. Data security

Still uses iOS-provided storage, Keychain protection, App Groups, Screen Time frameworks, and Apple’s purchase system to protect information. We limit access to the information required for each feature.

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. International processing

Google and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is subject to their privacy policies and applicable data-transfer protections.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing.

You can:

  • Edit or delete profiles and website lists in Still
  • Withdraw Screen Time permission through iOS
  • Review advertising choices when the option appears in Still
  • Purchase Still Pro to remove advertisements
  • Restore purchases from the app
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple
  • Uninstall Still to remove most locally stored information

11. Children’s privacy

Still is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Still, contact us.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Still’s features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The updated policy will be published at this URL with a revised effective date.
